EVENT MAP: The link below will take you to the official Juice Jam Map (Google MyMaps). We suggest you study it closely and save the URL to your phone. The map has layers which are titled on the menu bar on the left side of the page – they are mostly self-explanatory… EVENT MAP – CLICK HERE GETTING HERE: The official event map (link above) has a titled section “Directions from Orange NSW to Day Parking” which keeps things simple. For those who like it written out: · From Orange NSW – follow Coronation Dr due West from town. · Coronation Dr becomes Cargo Rd – continue for around 14km. · Turn left onto Boree Rd (you will see a small RFS station here). · Follow Boree Rd for around 3km – staying left at two forks, crossing the creek and continuing until you reach Federal Falls Rd. · There will be signage directing you up Federal Falls Rd which will take you to the event centre, parking and camping area! Please note, there are some large ruts and potholes in the
unsealed Boree Rd, so please drive with care. The road is 2wd accessible. Also, please do not park or stop along Boree and Federal Falls Rds. Proceed to the event centre where you will be directed to your camping and/or parking area. REGISTRATION: The event registration tent will be
open from 2pm Friday 2nd October. All attendees must present for
registration where you will receive: · An event wrist band – this is your ticket, please keep it on for the whole weekend as you will not be able to gain access to shuttles or other event activities without it. · A shuttle pass – all ticket holders will receive one shuttle pass – if you have ordered additional shuttle passes then you will also collect these at registration – each shuttle pass allows for 8 shuttle uplifts – shuttle passes can be passed around to other ticket holders – to be able to ride the shuttle you will need both a valid pass AND an event wrist band. · 1 or more timing transponders (equivalent to your booking type) which will be utilised for the DG CYCLES True Blue Challenge!! When registering, there will also be forms of “expression of
interest” for our other event activities such as the: · MOLONG GRAVEL Jump Jam (Whip-Off Contest) · COLLIDE DRINKS x MEADOWBROOK Mystery XC Ride · FACTORY ESPRESSO Kids Cruise · BADLANDS Night Ride (BYO lights) · MOLONG PHARMACY Off-Piste Enduro Ride. Please write your name and contact number down for each of
the activities you are interested in joining! If throughout the weekend you need to purchase another shuttle pass, then please come to the registration area and we will be happy to assist! CAMPING: If you are intending/booked to camp at the event centre, please follow directions from our volunteers about where to set-up. There is a lot of space, but things can get congested if not well organised. We have set out a plan for tents, campers, camp trailers and caravans to ensure the camping area and event flow is maintained (you will find details of this plan within the official event map). If you arrive early on Friday (before 2pm) there may not be anyone to assist you. Please be prepared in this case to move your set-up when our volunteers arrive should it be deemed necessary. Thanks in advance for your cooperation on this!! We are really looking forward to sharing the magic of our event centre camping experience with you. FACILITIES/FOOD/WATER: There will be port-a-loos on
site for use by campers and event attendees. There are NO SHOWERS. There will be no official food vendors and only limited fresh water available – so please be prepared to bring all the necessary food and water your crew/family will require for the weekend. Orange is only a 15-20 minute drive away if you need to stock up. Nearby CARGO RD WINES (official supporters of our coaching clinics) do wine tastings and serve a small menu of food and beverages. Well worth a visit to enjoy the view from the deck after a full day of shuttles!! If you have a group that is looking to attend, please call ahead (Cargo Rd Wines). E-BIKE CHARGING STATION: We will be providing a designated e-bike charging area from a generator to keep you pumping laps all weekend long!! FIRE BAN: As of the start of October, there will be a total fire ban in effect for the area including Glenwood State Forest. Please do not start a solid fuel fire at any time. Portable gas stoves are to be used for cooking purposes. REMINDER OF LIABILITY/WAIVER: Please note that your ticket included a waiver of liability – riding, participation and use of the shuttles is at your own risk. Please ride within your limits and sight each trail before riding at full trail speed or hitting features that are outside your comfort zone. There will be a small number of first aid trained volunteers on site to assist with minor injuries. Please familiarize yourself with our trail maps, including our designed Emergency Points which can be used to locate you in the case of emergency on the trail. WEATHER CONDITIONS: We are hoping that there will be great weather for the event but the forecast is looking a little soggy. Please come prepared for all conditions. Orange is situated at altitude and as such you can expect cool nights and changeable conditions. Friday we are expecting some rain and overnight temps will get below 10 degrees. The wind will pick-up Sunday and this can get quite chilly, especially at the top of the trail network where there is exposure to the elements!! At a minimum pack at least one warm jacket and pants and a wet weather shell – ideally bring the thermals and wool socks for overnight. You get the idea!
